Harmanpreet Kaur shatters Rohit Sharma world record as India face England in Womens T20 world cup


New Delhi. Indian women’s team captain Harmanpreet Kaur has made a new world record in T20 International format. Harmanpreet Kaur has become the player to play the most T20 International matches in world cricket. India and England match in Women’s T20 World Cup 2023 at St George’s Park is Harmanpreet Kaur’s 149th T20 International match.

Harmanpreet has broken the long-standing record of Indian men’s team captain Rohit Sharma. Rohit Sharma has played a total of 148 T20 International matches for India, but now Harmanpreet has beaten Rohit Sharma by playing 149 T20 International matches.

Both the teams have won their opening two league matches.
