Harry Brook has created history while batting explosively in the Rawalpindi Test. He has become the first batsman for England to score the fastest 150 runs in an innings of Test cricket. He has touched this figure while facing just 115 balls against Pakistan. Earlier this special achievement was recorded in the name of Captain Ben Stokes. In the year 2016, he got the figure of 150 runs in 135 balls.
Brook’s double blast in Rawalpindi Test:
Leaving six fours in his one over in Rawalpindi, he did a special feat while batting fast in the 83rd over. He scored a total of 27 runs in the over of Zahid Mahmood, who came to bowl the 83rd over for the Green team. This is the highest score made by an English batsman in one over.
Earlier this special achievement was recorded in the name of Ian Botham and Brook. Botham did this special charisma against Derek Striling in the year 1986. On the other hand, Brook has done this special feat on the very first day of the ongoing test.
The discussion of this commendable work of Brook was not over yet that he scored 27 runs while batting again on the second day. With this, after nearly 145 years, he has become the first batsman to score 24 or more than 24 runs twice in an innings of Test cricket.
