Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) fast bowler Harshal Patel achieved a special feat against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 52nd match of IPL-2021 in Abu Dhabi. As soon as he sent Wriddhiman Saha to the pavilion, he took a total of 28 wickets in the 14th season of the league. In this way he also left behind the record of Jasprit Bumrah.

He left behind Team India’s star pacer Jasprit Bumrah. Harshal Patel achieved this feat in the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. He got Wriddhiman Saha (10) caught by AB de Villiers on the second ball of the 18th over of the innings. With this, a total of 28 wickets were taken in his 14th season.
He has become the highest wicket-taker Indian bowler in a season. Earlier this record was in the name of Bumrah who took a total of 27 wickets in the last season. At the same time, Bhuvneshwar Kumar took a total of 26 wickets in the 2017 season.
