Has Team India got Pant’s replacement?
Pietersen suggested the name of the explosive youth
New Delhi. Young wicket-keeper player Rishabh Pant is running out of the Indian team after being injured in a car accident. In his absence, the team has tried many wicketkeeper players, but he has not been able to do much to fill his place. In particular, Pant was proving to be very effective for the blue team while batting in the Test format. Till when Pant will return to the team after recovering, there is no concrete news at the moment. In such a situation, the selectors are working on their options.
Kevin Pietersen suggests Pant’s alternative:
Former England cricketer Kevin Pietersen has suggested a name to the Indian team as an alternative to Rishabh Pant. It is none other than Jitesh Sharma, the explosive batsman of Punjab Kings. KP said in a column in an English newspaper that Jitesh Sharma is a special talent. If Pant is not able to return to the team then India should think about Jitesh.

The former English cricketer believes that Team India has Jitesh Sharma as an alternative to Rishabh Pant. According to me, this player has a lot of potential, who can take his place if Pant is out for a long time. He also mentioned his fine innings of 25 runs in seven balls and praised him fiercely.
Jitesh Sharma is spreading fire in IPL 2023:
In IPL 2023, Jitesh Sharma’s bat is going on fiercely. He is playing useful innings for his team by coming in the lower order. He has played a total of seven matches for his team so far in the ongoing season. Meanwhile, 145 runs have come out of his bat at an average of 20.71 in seven innings. During this, his strike rate has been 149.48.
