Hero Electric wins two-wheeler sales, Ather becomes the only company to roll

The top 10 electric sales have seen a year-on-year growth of 247 percent. Talking about month-to-month, it has seen an increase of 6 percent. Talking about sales last month, the figure was 39,755 units. This was higher than 11,425 units in July 2022. In comparison, an increase of 28,330 units was registered. However, Ather lagged behind in this episode. This company remained low in month-on-month sales.

Hero Electric retained the top spot in July 2022. Its sales stood at 8,953 units. Accordingly, Hero Electric registered a year-on-year growth of 108.05 percent. Okinawa ranked #2 on the Top 10 Electric Sales June 2022. The company sold 8093 units in July 2022. In July 2021, this figure was 2,580 units. In this way the company has achieved a growth of 213 percent. Sales in June 2022 stood at 6,984 units, a month-on-month growth of 16 percent.

Ampere stood at number 3 in this list. In July 2022, there were sales of 6,313 units. In July 2021, 657 units were sold. In this way an increase rate of 860 percent was achieved. Ampere Electric has registered a steady growth in sales. After this, TVS Motor’s number remained. In the case of electric two-wheeler sales, 4,258 units were sold in July 2022. July 2021 saw an increase of 557 percent as against 648 units sold.

Ola, Bajaj, Revolt, Ather Ola Electric sales in July 2022 were at 3,859 units. This was a month-on-month decline of 34.5 per cent as against 5,892 units sold in June 2022. Ather registered year-on-year and month-on-month declines of 28 percent and 66 percent, respectively. It had a sale of 1,799 units in July 2021, which fell to 1,286 units in July 2022. In June 2022, the company had sold 3,830 units. Ather recently launched the Gen 3 450X electric scooter, which competes with the TVS iQube. Both Benling and Okaya have posted year-on-year and month-on-month sales of 1,167 units and 1,076 units in July 2022.
