‘I don’t know what’s going on in Virat’s mind’, says Ganguly on former captain’s form

New Delhi. Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, one former captain of Team India and one current. But, both are the same story. Two stalwarts of Indian cricket are going through a bad phase of their careers at this time. Both the bats have been silent for a long time. This trend continues in IPL 2022 as well. Kohli has scored 128 runs in 9 matches and he has been a golden duck twice. On the other hand Rohit’s team Mumbai Indians has not won a single match in IPL 2022 and his own performance has also been lackluster. Rohit has scored 153 runs in 8 matches. However, BCCI President Sourav Ganguly is hopeful that both these batsmen will come back with a bang soon. In a special conversation with News18, Ganguly spoke openly about the form of Virat-Rohit, IPL 2022.

What do you have to say on Rohit and Virat going through a rough phase in their careers? To this Ganguly said, “No doubt both of them are great players and I am sure that Rohit and Virat will soon return to form and score big scores. I don’t know what’s going on in Virat Kohli’s mind? But, one thing is for sure that he will soon return to form and will score runs with his bat. He is a big player.”

Umran emerged as face of IPL: Ganguly
How is this year’s IPL going? In response to this question, BCCI President Ganguly said that it is very interesting. I myself am watching IPL matches. No team can be claimed for the title. Any team can win. Many teams are playing well. The performance of the two new teams-Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans has been excellent. Umran Malik is not taking his eyes off him. Umesh Yadav and Khaleel Ahmed have also bowled well. I would say that Umran Malik has emerged as the face of IPL 2022.

Rishabh Pant showed amazing like Dhoni, Shreyas Iyer was shocked, video went viral

When Ganguly was asked in this interview about his going to the International Cricket Council, he did not open his cards about it. The BCCI President said that I do not know anything about this at the moment. Regarding his biopic, the former Indian captain said that I am not getting time at the moment. I want to write a script. But it is not ready yet.
