‘I will speak after June 15..’ Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh’s reply on the ‘revenge’ statement of minor wrestler’s father

New Delhi. The long-standing deadlock between Wrestling Federation of India President Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh and the wrestlers seems to be ending after the strike is over. But, new revelations are happening everyday in this matter. Recently, the father of the minor wrestler confessed in a conversation with the news agency PTI that he had lodged a false complaint of sexual harassment against the President of the Wrestling Federation. Because he was angry with the non-selection of his daughter and he lodged a complaint with the intention of revenge.

When Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh was questioned on this, he said that at present he has nothing to say on this matter. Talking to news agency ANI, he said, “This matter is pending in the court. The government has also promised that the police will file the charge sheet by June 15. Let it happen first. If there is a need to speak after June 15, I will definitely keep my point. At the moment, I do not think that anything should be said on this issue.
