ICC T20 Rankings: After the five-match T20 series between India and South Africa, the ICC has released the new ranking of T20. After this series, it was certain that Indian players would dominate the rankings. Something similar has been seen where there has been a huge difference in the ranking of many Indian players.
Amazing Indian players in ICC rankings
Veteran Dinesh Karthik jumped 108 places to 87th position in the recently released ICC T20 batting rankings thanks to his stellar performances while young opening batsman Ishan Kishan broke into the top 10. Kishan scored two half-centuries in the five-match series against South Africa and scored 206 runs at an average of 41. Thanks to this form, the left-handed cricketer has gained a place in the latest released T20 rankings for batsmen and has reached the sixth position.
There was a ruckus in IPL too
Karthik has been in excellent form since the fifth season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) and played some flamboyant innings in the T20I series against South Africa. Pakistan captain Babar Azam is currently at the top of the T20 batting rankings and Kishan is the only Indian player in the top 10.
Yuzvendra Chahal has made the longest jump in the T20 rankings of bowlers. The Indian spinner gained three places to finish 23rd with the help of six wickets during the series against South Africa. Josh Hazlewood continues to top the T20 bowling rankings. Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan (jointly third) and Sri Lankan spinner Wanindu Hasaranga (sixth) both moved up a place to reach the top 10.
Jadeja remains at number one
Ravindra Jadeja has maintained his top position in the Test all-rounder list with 385 rating points.
