Dubai. Indian off-spinner R Ashwin has retained his second position in the list of bowlers and all-rounders in the Test rankings released by the ICC on Wednesday. Ravindra Jadeja remains at the third place in the list of Test all-rounders (ICC Test Rankings). Rohit Sharma and captain Virat Kohli have also retained the fifth and seventh positions respectively in the batsmen’s list. Rohit has 797 and Kohli has 756 points. Recently, Australia defeated England in the third match of the Ashes series. Fast bowler James Anderson has moved up three places to number five.
In the list of batsmen, Australia’s Marnus Labuschagne (915 points) is at the top. England captain Joe Root (900) is in second place, while New Zealand captain Kane Williamson (879) has removed Steve Smith (877) from third place. Rohit Sharma, David Warner, Virat Kohli, Dimuth Karunaratne, Babar Azam and Travis Head are included in the top-10. R Ashwin is the only Indian bowler in the top-10 in Test rankings. He remains in second place with 883 rating points.
