New Delhi: The Indian team has taken a 2-0 lead in the Border Gavaskar Trophy against Australia. Team India will now play the third Test match from March 1 at the Holkar ground in Indore. Australia has faced defeat in both the opening matches. Australia’s veteran all-rounder Cameron Green is ready to return for the third Test. He revealed this during an interview.
Cameron Green said during a conversation on ESPN Cricinfo, “I was very close to the last game. But taking more rest for 1 week proved to be very beneficial for me. I am 100 percent ready to come back now. I could have played a match earlier also but not playing was the right decision.
Green can replace Cummins
Australian team captain Pat Cummins is out of the third test. Cameron Green can be included in the squad in his place. Along with green batting, he is also capable of bowling. Green has played 18 Tests so far. In which he has taken 23 wickets along with scoring 806 runs. But, Green has not played a single Test in India. Please tell that Steve Smith will captain in the third test in place of Pat Cummins.
