New Delhi: The Indian team is playing Test series on Bangladesh tour. Blue team managed to score 404 runs in the first innings. The same Bangladesh team was reduced to 150 runs only. Opening the innings in the second innings, opener KL Rahul was dismissed after scoring 23 runs in 62 balls, while Shubhman Gill scored a century while batting brilliantly. He hit 10 fours and three sixes during his innings. After this century, Gill has achieved a special achievement by leaving behind Rahul and Rohit Sharma.
Shubman Gill has become the highest run-scorer in an innings of a Test match for India in 2022 as well as his best innings of 110 runs. Please tell that KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma could not even cross the 50-run mark while batting in Test cricket this year.
KL Rahul was also a flop in the first innings:
Opener batsman KL Rahul has been given the captaincy in the absence of Rohit Sharma. But till now he has not been able to play the captaincy innings. He could score only 22 runs in the first innings. During this, three fours came out of his bat. However, even Shubman Gill could not bat in this innings. He was dismissed after scoring 20 runs in 40 balls.
Rohit can play in the second test:
Indian team’s veteran captain Rohit Sharma suffered a thumb injury in the second match of the ODI series against Bangladesh. After which he left the field. He could not take part in the first test. If media reports are to be believed then Rohit Sharma has given the update of his return to the team management. He may be available for the second test.
