New Delhi. The 5th Test is being played between India and England at Edgbaston. While the first two days of this Test were in the name of Team India, on the third day England started well. When the match was stopped due to rain, England had scored 200 runs for the loss of 6 wickets. There was a partnership of 66 runs in 75 balls for the fifth wicket between Jonny Bairstow and Ben Stokes and on the basis of this partnership, England’s faltering innings was managed and the team reached 200 runs. Virat Kohli was also seen in full action on the third day. He clashed with the England batsman Jonny Bairstow on the field. Tu-Tu, Main-I started happening between the two on the field itself. In gestures, Kohli even asked Bairstow to close his mouth and bat. The umpire had to intervene as the dispute escalated. The video of this incident is now going viral on social media.
This entire dispute between Kohli and Bairstow happened in the 32nd over of England’s innings. Then Mohammed Shami was bowling. Bairstow was in a lot of trouble with Shami’s accurate line length. Bairstow got beat on the first ball of this over. This ball came quickly inside and Bairstow tried to drive it. But the ball went over the stumps and Bairstow narrowly escaped being bowled. After this, Kohli, standing in the slips, started sledging against Bairstow. Virat quipped that Jonny Bairstow can see everything except the ball.
Bairstow got infuriated by one thing of Kohli
This thing of Kohli went to Bairstow and he gestured to keep Kohli shut. After this, Kohli reached him and a quarrel started between the two. Seeing the matter escalate, the umpire also had to come. After that both of them calmed down. But, while going towards the slip, Kohli gestured to Bairstow to keep his mouth shut and asked to bat quietly.
