New Delhi. Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja performed well with the bat in the rescheduled 5th Test match of the series against England (IND vs ENG 5th Test). He scored a total of 127 runs in the match. Jadeja scored a century in the first innings while scoring 23 runs in the second innings. At the Edgbaston ground in Birmingham, Jadeja faced 58 balls in the second innings of the match and hit only one four. He was bowled by England captain Ben Stokes.

India scored 245 runs in the second innings, giving England a target of 378 runs to win. Cheteshwar Pujara and wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant scored half-centuries for India. Pujara contributed 66 off 168 balls while Pant contributed 57 runs off 86 balls. Ben Stokes bowled amazingly and took 4 wickets. Stuart Broad and Matthew Potts got 2-2 wickets.
