For this reason, Rohit could not be a part of the Test match being played between India and England at Edgbaston. He was in isolation since he became Corona positive. In the video shared by BCCI, Rohit Sharma can be seen practicing on off-spinner R Ashwin’s ball. Looking at Rohit’s body language, it seems that he is now fully fit and is all set to take the news of the bowlers. Due to Corona, Rohit could not even take part in the two warm-up matches played against county teams before the T20 series. India beat Northamptonshire by 10 runs in the second warm-up match. In this match, India scored 149 runs in 20 overs due to Harshal Patel’s half-century. After this, Northamptonshire was dismissed for 139 runs. Harshal also took 2 wickets in the match.

T20 series between India and England from July 7

Let us tell you that the T20 series against England will start from July 7. In this match, Rohit will take over the command of Indian batting, because Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant will not play in the first T20. Both these players are playing the Edgbaston Test, which will end on July 5. The first T20 is to be held only after 2 days. That’s why Virat and Pant will not get into it. The second match between India and England will be played in Birmingham and the third T20 will be played in Nottingham. After this, on July 12, the first ODI will be played in London, the second ODI at Lord’s and the third ODI will be played in Manchester.
