New Delhi. The ongoing Test match between India and England at Edgbaston has reached an exciting turn on the fourth day. Chasing a target of 378 runs for victory, England started with a bang in the fourth innings. Jack Crowley and Alex Lees broke down on the Indian bowlers to hit fifty runs in 9 overs. Neither Mohammed Shami nor Jasprit Bumrah’s magic was seen with the new ball. The Lees had come with a completely different intention. He continued to bat in T20 style in Test cricket and many times reverse sweep off Ravindra Jadeja’s balls and got fours. Lees completed his fifty in the 16th over of England’s innings with a four off Mohammad Siraj. For this he took only 44 balls.
The pair of Jack Crowley and Alex Lees continued to bat in the same fashion and in the 20th over itself, at a run rate of 4.93, England’s score crossed 100. This is England’s fastest century partnership for the first wicket and also England’s highest partnership for the first wicket in the fourth innings of a Test since 2008. However, on the score of 107, Jasprit Bumrah clean bowled Crowley and broke the dangerous looking pair.
The ball was changed just before this over of Jasprit Bumrah and as soon as it changed, the fate of the Indian team also changed. In the very next over, Bumrah clean bowled Crowley and broke the record partnership and got Team India back in this Test.

Bumrah gave two blows to England after changing the ball
It was Bumrah’s comeback over and he gave India a big breakthrough in his very first over. This ball of Bumrah came quickly inside. But, Crowley felt that the ball would come out of the line of off-stump. For this reason he did not play the shot and the ball hit the upper part of his off-stump. Earlier too, Indian coach Rahul Dravid was seen talking to match referee David Boon regarding the ball. However, the ball was not changed then.

When the ball was changed in the 21st over, then the game’s dice also turned. Just after the tea break, Bumrah started the bowling again and on the very first ball, Ollie Pope was caught behind the wicket by Rishabh Pant. Pope could not even open the account and the English team lost the second wicket on the score of 107 runs.
