On the basis of Gill’s first century of T20 International, India made a huge score of 234 runs for 4 wickets while playing first. Gill scored an unbeaten 126 off 63 balls. Hit 12 fours and 7 sixes. In response, the New Zealand team was reduced to 66 runs in 12.1 overs. Earlier, India had given a big 3-0 defeat to the Kiwi team in the ODI series. Talking about the year 2023, India won the fourth series in a row. Earlier, the team also won the ODI and T20 series against Sri Lanka.

The visiting New Zealand team never appeared in the match to chase the target. His 5 wickets fell for just 21 runs. 9 batsmen from the team could not touch the double figures.
