Kuldeep Yadav managed to make a place in the Indian team for the five-match T20 series against South Africa with his impressive performance in IPL 2022. But before the start of the series, he was ruled out due to injury. Kuldeep Yadav is disappointed after being ruled out of the series against South Africa and has said that he will make a strong comeback once again.
Kuldeep wrote on Instagram, “Disappointed to be ruled out of the South Africa series due to injury, but I am sure the players will give their best on the pitch and I am supporting them in every way. Looking forward to a strong comeback ”
Left-arm spinner Kuldeep Yadav injured his right hand while batting in the nets on Tuesday. The selection committee has not announced the name of any alternate player in place of Rahul and Kuldeep. Both these cricketers will now go to the National Cricket Academy, where the medical team will assess them and decide on the future course of treatment.
In the recently concluded IPL, Kuldeep played all matches for Delhi Capitals, taking 21 wickets at an average of 19.95 with an economy rate of 8.44. Rishabh Pant, who was appointed India’s vice-captain for the South Africa series, will now lead the team in the absence of Rahul. All-rounder Hardik Pandya has been made the vice-captain.
