New Delhi. The final match of the 3 ODI series between India and Sri Lanka (India vs Sri Lanka) will be held at the Greenfield Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram on Sunday. By winning the ODIs played in Guwahati and Kolkata, India has taken an unassailable lead in the series. Team India’s head coach Rahul Dravid had to return from Kolkata to Bangalore after the second ODI due to health issues. It was discussed that he would not be with the team in Thiruvananthapuram. However, batting coach Vikram Rathour has clarified the situation regarding Dravid.
Talking to the media before the third ODI, Rathore said, ‘Rahul Dravid is completely healthy and he is present with the team. If needed, he can also take a few rounds of the field.
On the question asked about the absence of 50-year-old Dravid, Team India’s batting coach said, ‘He is absolutely fine. I don’t know where this news came from. Do you want to see him go round the ground? We can also do his fitness test.
Team India will play ODI for the second time in Greenfield
Team India will take the field on Sunday with the intention of a clean sweep in the ODI series. This will be India’s second ODI match at the Greenfield Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram, while Sri Lanka will play here for the first time. One ODI has been played at Greenfield so far.
