new Delhi. Indian wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant (Rishabh Pant) missed a century in the first Test match (IND vs SL 1st Test) of the series against Sri Lanka in Mohali. He scored 96 runs. He was bowled by Suranga Lakmal on the 5th ball of the 81st over of the innings. He was playing in the best style but Lakmal did not allow the century to be completed. Pant played 97 balls and hit 9 fours, 4 sixes.

Indian captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and elected to bat in this Test match that started on Friday. Pant came to bat at number 5 and showed a strong game. Pant and Ravindra Jadeja also shared a 104-run partnership for the sixth wicket. This is the 5th time that Pant missed a century despite scoring 90 or more runs.
