New Delhi. West Indies has announced a 13-member squad for the second Test match against India. Uncapped player Kevin Sinclair has been replaced by all-rounder Ramon Reifer in the team. Rohit Sharma’s Indian team is currently 1-0 ahead in the 2-Test series. India won the first Test in Dominica by an innings margin. In this match, the Windies team was in bad condition in front of India’s spin bowling and in the first innings it was piled up by scoring only 150 runs and in the second innings only 130 runs. The second Test is to be played at Port of Spain from 20 July.

Despite the poor performance of the first Test, the West Indies team management has retained faith in most of its players. To strengthen the spin department, 23-year-old off-spinner Sinclair has been selected.

Will start Test career in Port of Spain
If Sinclair gets a place in the playing XI (which is quite likely), he will start his Test career in Port of Spain. He has played seven ODIs and six T20 matches so far, 11 wickets in ODIs and 4 wickets in T20, Sinclair’s name is recorded. Although Sinclair has got the place of Reifer, but Reifer will remain associated with the team for the time being so that there is an option to feed them in case of injury to any player. Born in Guyana, Sinclair is known for celebrating in a grand manner after taking a wicket. After taking the wicket, he puts ‘Somersalt’.
