With just one day left for the end of this historic Test match between India and Australia, the chances of this match being a draw have increased. Mandhana scored a century against Australia on the second day of the one-day Test match being played in Queensland. Mandhana, however, was dismissed after scoring 127 off 216 balls. He hit 22 fours and a six in his innings. Mandhana is the second cricketer after Virat Kohli to score a century in the Pink Ball Test from India. Kohli played an innings of 136 runs against Bangladesh in the Kolkata Test in the year 2019.

On the third day of the match, India declared their first innings at 377 for eight. Tania was dismissed for 22 runs off 75 balls with the help of three fours. After this, Pooja Vastrakar returned to the pavilion after scoring 13 runs in 48 balls with the help of two fours. Then Deepti also could not stay at the crease for long after scoring a half-century and was dismissed after scoring 66 runs in 167 balls with the help of eight fours. After some time, India decided to declare the innings. Jhulan seven and Meghna Singh remained unbeaten on two runs in India’s innings.

While Australia have scored 143 for four in the first innings till the end of the day’s play, they are still trailing by 234 runs from India. Till the stumps, Ellyse Perry is present at the crease by scoring 27 runs off 98 balls with the help of three fours and Ashley Gardner scoring 13 runs off 34 balls with the help of three fours. For India, Jhulan Goswami and Pooja Vastrakar have got two wickets each.
