Before this, India has to play T20 series against West Indies, Australia and South Africa, while India will also participate in the Asia Cup which will be played in T20 format this year. India’s schedule before the T20 World Cup is as follows-

India has to play a 5-match T20 series against West Indies from 29th of this month. After this India will take part in the Asia Cup. After the Asia Cup, Team India will host Australia and South Africa and India has to play a 3-3 match T20 series against both the teams. Before the T20 World Cup, India will play its last bilateral series against South Africa. Before the World Cup, India will also get a chance to play two warm-up matches.

It is reported that the India vs Australia T20 series will start with the match to be played in Mohali on 20 September. The other two matches will be played on September 23 and 25 in Nagpur and Hyderabad respectively.

The Indian team will conclude its World Cup preparations with three more T20Is against South Africa in Trivandrum (September 28), Guwahati (October 1) and Indore (October 3).

After this, Team India will also play an ODI series against South Africa, but in view of the T20 World Cup, the second-class Indian team will be seen playing in this series.
