India vs pakistan series will icc get involved for bilateral cricket revival chief executive geoff allardice says no

New Delhi. When there are cricket matches between India and Pakistan, the excitement is at its peak and history is definitely made. Like it happened in this time’s T20 World Cup. First, Pakistan defeated India after 12 matches in the World Cup (ODI and T20), and the second match became the most watched match in T20 history. About 167 million (167 million) people watched this match. However, despite having so much excitement, viewership, there has not been a bilateral series between the two countries after 2012-13 (India vs Pakistan bilateral series).

When will there be a bilateral series between India and Pakistan? This is such a question, the answer to which the cricket fans of both the countries have been waiting for years. However, the new information given by the International Cricket Council (ICC) regarding the series of both the countries is not very promising.

ICC Interim Chief Executive Geoff Allardice has given big information on the India-Pakistan bilateral series. In a conversation with reporters in Dubai, he expressed his opinion about the format of the World Test Championship, Afghanistan cricket and the India-Pakistan series.

ICC will not play any role in India-Pakistan series: Allardyce
Allardyce was asked whether the ICC would play any role in organizing India-Pakistan bilateral series in future. On this, the ICC Chief Executive said, “We will not have a role in the bilateral series. Obviously we enjoy it when teams from both the countries compete against each other in ICC events. But the current relationship between the two countries and the cricket board is such, which the ICC cannot influence under any circumstances.

He further said, “Like any bilateral cricket, if the cricket boards of both the countries agree, then play series among themselves and do not play if there is no consent. I think at the moment, there is not much change in the situation regarding the cricket series between India and Pakistan.
