As IPL 2021 is at its last stage, fans are waiting for the start of T20 World Cup. A day after the IPL final, the T20 World will start in UAE and Oman. Like the second phase of IPL 2021, in the T20 World Cup too, spectators will get permission to come to the stadium to watch the match. The T20 World Cup is to be played between India and Pakistan on 24 October. The sale of tickets for this match started on Sunday and according to the report, all the available tickets were sold out within just 1 hour.
According to a report in Khaleej Times, seats in General, General East, Premium, Pavilion East and Platinum categories are no longer available on the Platinumlist website after the match went on sale on Sunday. The prices of Sky Box and VIP Suite are not yet shown on the official website. The T20 World Cup starts on October 17 in Oman’s capital Muscat, with Oman taking on Papua New Guinea in the first round. Four teams from the first round will advance to the major round along with the top eight teams in the main competition.
It will start from 23 October, where Australia will take on South Africa in the first match. The final will be played in Dubai on November 14. This is going to be the biggest tournament held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) since the pandemic. In the second part of the PSL held in UAE in June this year, spectators were not allowed to watch matches in the stadium. In the ongoing IPL also, a small number of spectators have been allowed to come on the field.
