India vs Sri Lanka 1st Test Match: The first match of the two-match Test series between India and Sri Lanka will be played from March 4 at the PCA Stadium in Mohali. Before this match, it is being discussed the most that who will bat at number-3 and number-5 for India in place of Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane. Pujara and Rahane have been dropped from the team due to poor form for a long time. Wasim Jaffer has told what should be the playing XI combination for India in Mohali Test and who should bat at No.3 and No.5.
Shubman Gill can open the innings with captain Rohit Sharma, while Virat Kohli will be seen batting at number-4 in his 100th Test. According to Jaffer, the Indian team should play in this match with three bowlers along with Ravindra Jadeja and R Ashwin. This will be Virat Kohli’s 100th Test match. Jaffer said that Dimuth Karunaratne will be the lifeblood of the Sri Lankan batting order.
