Another Indian bowler to play county cricket
Decision taken after the advice of head coach Dravid
New Delhi. India’s left arm fast bowler Arshdeep Singh will play county cricket. He has tied up with Kent Club. He will play 5 first class matches for Kent in June and July. Meanwhile, Team India will also go to England to play the final of the World Test Championship. Arshdeep Singh was advised by Rahul Dravid to play county cricket to improve his bowling. After this, Arshdeep Singh has tied up with Dravid’s old club Kent.
Before Arshdeep Singh, Navdeep Saini has also played cricket for Cantt. Kent issued a statement informing about Arshdeep Singh joining the team. Kent wrote, “Kent Cricket is pleased to announce that Indian bowler Arshdeep Singh will be available to play 5 matches of the County Championship between June and July.
Arshdeep made his ODI debut against New Zealand in November last year and has played 29 matches for India so far. Arshdeep has so far taken 25 wickets in 7 first class matches. He has taken 41 wickets in 29 matches for India. Arshdeep has played 3 ODIs. But, could not get a single wicket.

Arshdeep Singh said about the 2-month contract with Kent, I am excited to play red ball cricket in England. This will help me to improve my skills further.
