New Delhi. With the help of two goals from Lionel Messi, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) defeated Leipzig 3-2 after coming back from the Champions League match. Messi scored the equalizer in the 67th minute in the match played on Tuesday and then converted a penalty in the 74th minute. Earlier, Kylan Mbappe had scored for PSG in the ninth minute. Andre Silva, however, leveled Leipzig in the 28th minute while Nordi Mukile put them ahead in the 57th minute. This is the 34th time Messi has scored at least two goals in the Champions League. He has scored 123 goals in this tournament so far and is second only to Cristiano Ronaldo (137 goals).
Indian cricketer Kuldeep Yadav was present in the stadium to watch this match live. The left-arm Indian wrist spinner and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) star underwent knee surgery last month after suffering an injury in the second leg of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021. On Wednesday, the Indian spinner took to Instagram and shared a few pictures from his memorable trip to Paris. Earlier, Kuldeep had shared an update after the star spinner was ruled out of IPL 2021 due to a knee injury.
Kuldeep Yadav had told on social media, “The surgery was successful and the recovery has just started. Many thanks to all for your wonderful support. Now it is time to complete my rehab well and get back on the pitch.” Now Kuldeep, who arrived in Paris to watch the football match, has shared the pictures here.
The out-of-favour Indian cricketer failed to solidify his selection case during India’s tour of Sri Lanka earlier this year. Kuldeep took 2 wickets for 48 runs in an ODI match. At the same time, he took 2 wickets for 30 runs in a T20 match against hosts Sri Lanka.
Kuldeep was hoping to make a comeback after a poor run at the international level but a knee injury put the middle brake on his IPL 2021 campaign. Kuldeep made his international debut for India in 2017. He has played 7 Tests, 65 ODIs and 22 T20 Internationals for India so far.
