In the final, Northern Ireland got off to a great start, running to a 7–0 lead until the fourth end. The Indian Lawn Balls team secured the first point of the final at the fifth end itself. India made it 7-2 by the sixth end, but Northern Ireland soon regained their grip on the tie, making it 10-2 at the seventh end and 13-5 at the 11th end.
India could score maximum eight points
At the 14th end, the Indian team had three goals off Jack before the last roll, but Northern Ireland managed to go up 18-5 and win the gold medal as India could score a maximum of eight points.
