Indian womens cricket team created history made it to the final of CWG 2022 in his first attempt to secure medal for India


Women’s cricket was included for the first time in the Commonwealth Games 2022 and the Indian team created history. Became the first team to reach the final of the Commonwealth Games. This was the reason that England’s team could score 160 runs in 20 overs for the loss of 6 wickets and lost the match by 4 runs. Captain Natalie Sciver scored 41 runs and Daniel Wyatt scored 35 runs for the England team. Sophia Dunkley played the innings of 19 runs. Sneh Rana got 2 wickets for India, while one success went to Deepti Sharma.

The good thing for India was that whenever the team was looking for a wicket, England’s wicket fell in the form of a run out. 3 out of 6 wickets fell as run outs. This was the biggest difference of England’s defeat. Now the Indian team will face the winner of the second semi-final between Australia and New Zealand in the final, while the England team will take on the runners-up team of the second semi-final for the bronze medal.
