India’s two young fast bowlers will shine in Australia, know who are these promising?


Brisbane: India’s two fast bowlers Chetan Sakariya and Mukesh Choudhary will play in the opening season of the T20 Max tournament starting here next month. Both Sakariya and Choudhary represented Delhi Capitals and Chennai Super Kings respectively in the last season of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

The two players will spend time in Brisbane as part of an exchange program between the MRF Pace Foundation and Cricket Australia. Cricket Australia said in a statement, “The exchange of players and coaching between the ‘MRF Pace Foundation’ and Cricket Australia has been going on for almost 20 years. It was stopped in the last few years due to corona virus but is starting again with these two Indian players.

Sakariya made his ODI and T20I debut against Sri Lanka last year while Choudhary took 16 wickets in 13 matches in this year’s IPL. Sakaria will play for the Sunshine Coast in the tournament in Australia, while the 26-year-old will represent Chowdhury Winnam-Manly.

Apart from participating in the competition, both the Indian bowlers will train at the ‘Bupa National Cricket Centre’ and will also be involved in pre-season preparations for ‘Queensland Bulls’. The T20 Max competition will be organized from August 18 to September 4. Its final will be played at Allan Border Field.
