Inzamam ul Haq tried beating up fan talking rubbish about Azharuddin’s wife

While fielding, the spectators who came to watch the match first called Inzamam fat and then made lewd comments about the wife of Mohammad Azharuddin, who was captaining Team India. Inzamam-ul-Haq tolerated the comments made on him but got furious after listening to the cheap talk about the Indian captain’s wife.

Former Indian cricketer Vinod Kambli mentioned about this incident in an interview. He had said. Batting first, the Pakistan team scored 116 runs in the second ODI. India was ahead in the series by winning the first match by 20 runs. During fielding, we got Inzamam-ul-Haq to get the bat from the 12th player of our team. Kambli told that everyone felt that Inzamam-ul-Haq was called fat by the spectators watching the match, because of which he was furious, but after the match, Pakistan’s fast bowler Waqar Younis told the real thing. Waqar told that the person in the crowd was saying dirty things about Azharuddin’s wife. Inzamam respects women a lot and he could not tolerate all this and asked for a bat and attacked him.

Police and match officials came and settled the fight between Inzamam and the person who came to watch the match. Due to this quarrel, the match also had to be stopped for about 40 minutes. The match was resumed after the matter was completely calm. After this incident, Inzamam was banned for two matches by the ICC.
