Former Pakistan cricket team captain and star cricketer Inzamam-ul-Haq has been discharged from the hospital. After being discharged from the hospital, Inzamam clarified that he had not had a heart attack and went to the hospital for a routine check-up. There were reports that Inzamam was admitted to the hospital on Monday following a heart attack, after which he had to undergo angioplasty.
Inzamam said on his YouTube channel, ‘I want to thank all the people of Pakistan and the world who prayed for my good health. I would like to thank the people and cricketers in Pakistan and outside Pakistan for sending me their best wishes. I saw media reports claiming that I had a heart attack, it did not happen.
He further said, ‘I went to the doctor for a routine check-up, he said that he wants to do angiography, which revealed that I have a blockage in one of the arteries, to remove which the doctors put a stent. It was successful and went smoothly. After 12 hours I came back home. I am fine now.’ Media reports claimed that Inzamam was admitted to the hospital after a heart attack. Inzamam is 51 years old and he said goodbye to international cricket in 2007.
