New Delhi. Questions were being raised about the form of star all-rounder Hardik Pandya but he performed well in the match against Punjab Kings (PBKS). Showing amazing with the bat, he scored an unbeaten 40 for Mumbai Indians (MI) at a strike rate of 133.33. The team led by Rohit Sharma got a 6-wicket win over Punjab on the basis of his innings. This was Mumbai’s first win in the UAE stage.
Pandya was also hit by a bouncer from pacer Mohammed Shami, playing for Punjab in this match and the 27-year-old all-rounder said that things have changed since then. Pandya even admitted that he was finding it difficult in the middle before Shami hit the ball. Pandya also said that every opportunity for a player is a new opportunity. Every player can lead his team to victory and emerge as a hero.

In this match, Pollard was adjudged the man of the match, who took 2 wickets and scored an unbeaten 15 off 7 balls. Mumbai Indians will play their next match against Delhi Capitals (DC) on October 2.
