New Delhi: IPL 2021 has now slowly reached its last phase. Mumbai Indians, captained by Rohit Sharma, have won this league the most (5) times. But this year Rohit’s team could not do anything special and even reaching the playoffs seems heavy. But this team has recently tried to make a comeback by defeating Rajasthan Royals. Meanwhile, some changes have also been seen in the team.

Mumbai Indians recalled Ishan Kishan for the match against Rajasthan. Ishaan replaced Quinton de Kock in the team and now it is believed that de Kock will not be seen again in this IPL. Mumbai Indians pacer Nathan Coulter-Nile has said that he feels Ishan Kishan may have cemented his place as an opener after his special innings against Rajasthan Royals. Coulter-Nile took four wickets for 14 runs against Rajasthan, while Ishan played an unbeaten 50 to give Mumbai victory.
Ishaan’s great comeback
Coulter-Nile said, ‘I think it’s good to have someone between the runs. Ishaan’s arrival was really good, especially after missing a few matches. Performing on such a tough wicket shows the quality of people sitting on the bench who come and perform for us. So, I was really happy to see him scoring runs. Now that he is back in form, he can go ahead and take that form forward.
He said, ‘I think Ishaan batting at the top is good for him. He likes to play his shots. With Quinton de Kock out of the way, he can come to bat at the top position. He has probably cemented his place here.
