IPL 2022: BCCI will organize IPL closing ceremony again after 4 years, big step taken


New Delhi. Compared to IPL 2022 (IPL 2022) has started from 26 March. A total of 10 teams are landing in the T20 league. The final match is to be held on May 29. Opening and closing ceremonies are not taking place in the T20 league since 2018. But this year the board has decided to organize the closing ceremony. The board has also invited tenders for the same. However, due to Corona, the opening ceremony was not organized in the current season. This time 2 new teams are landing in the form of Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants. This time 74 matches will be played instead of 60.

In a release issued by Board Secretary Jay Shah, it has been told that the documents related to the closing ceremony can be purchased till April 25. A fee of one lakh rupees has been kept for this. The parties participating in the tender may inform the BCCI in this regard by e-mail. Although the venue of the final match of IPL has not been announced yet, but it is likely to be held at Narendra Modi Stadium in Gujarat.
