IPL 2022 Chennai Super Kings: In the 15th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL), a lot of new things will be seen. This time instead of eight, 10 franchise teams will fight for the title, apart from this, due to the mega auction, many new names have also been added to the squads of almost all the teams. Talking about Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Rajvardhan Hangargekar of Under-19 team and all-rounder Shivam Dubey will be seen playing in yellow jersey this year. Hangargekar told what special advice he got from captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
Former India captain Dhoni took a jibe at CSK’s new faces Shivam Dubey and Rajvardhan Hangargekar in an India Cements show ‘Witness the Poweroff 7’ and said that they have been asked to improve their football skills. In fact, when Hangargekar was asked about his first interaction with Dhoni at the CSK camp in Surat, Dhoni interrupted him and said, “He has been asked to improve his football skills.”
Speaking about his first interaction with Dhoni at CSK’s camp in Surat, Hangargekar spoke about the freedom he has enjoyed so far. Hangargekar said, ‘On the first day of practice, MS Bhai told me to do what you are already doing. Don’t change anything. Just keep doing what you are doing well. It was really good advice for me, that I have the freedom to do what I am doing.
He said, ‘I am grateful to the CSK family for giving me this opportunity. I will give my all on the field for the team and will make CSK proud again. Shivam also shared his experience with CSK and said, ‘Everyone is very excited, this 15-20 days time will give them extra time to mingle with each other.’ It is worth noting that CSK will start their IPL 2022 campaign against Kolkata Knight Riders on 26 March.
