Royal Challengers Bangalore will face Kolkata Knight Riders in the 6th match of the IPL. Faf du Plessis led team will go into this match with the intention of winning. Because the team had to face defeat at the hands of Punjab Kings in the first match. Dinesh Karthik, who is associated with Royal Challengers Bangalore this season, can play a very important role in the match to be held at the DY Patil Stadium. Because he had earlier been a part of the Kolkata Knight Riders team and also took charge of the team.
Karthik, who played a crucial innings in RCB’s first match of the season, revealed how he was feeling before facing his former team in a video posted by RCB on social media.
Dinesh Karthik said, “I enjoyed the team and much respect to everyone in the backroom staff. The CEO is the one who was very close to me. Keeping all those things in mind, I am very nervous. I went to an old school and now I’ve shifted and I’m playing against the old school so it’s a little different. I am excited but nervous would be a more appropriate word at this point of time.
Andre Russell has been a match-winner for KKR with the bat against RCB in the past and Karthik said the team will have a plan ready for the West Indies power hitter.
Karthik said, “Varun Chakraborty and Sunil Narine are the bowlers who have troubled everyone in IPL and they wanted some input and I have given my two cents and now we will see how we play them in the match. How important is that.”
