Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) fast bowler Harshal Patel, who won the Purple Cap in IPL 2021, has written an emotional post on social media after the funeral of his sister. Hearing the news that Harshal’s sister had passed away recently, he went to his house for a day immediately after the match. After attending the funeral of his sister, Harshal had to stay out of the bio-bubble for three days due to the quarantine. However, after that he has joined the team again and he was also a part of the team in the match against Delhi Capitals. He gave 48 runs in 4 overs and did not get a single breakthrough.

Harshal shared a photo with his sister on Instagram and wrote, ‘You were a kind and happy person. You faced difficulties in your life with a smile and did it till your last breath. When I was with you in the hospital before coming to India, you told me not to worry about me and focus on my game. Because of your words, I was able to muster up the courage to play on the field in the last match. Now that’s all I can do to honor you. I will do whatever makes you proud of me. I will always miss you and will miss you. I love you so much, Rest in Peace Jadi.’
