New Delhi. Rishabh Pant, who is often seen calm on the field, is getting a different avatar in IPL 2022. Recently, Delhi Capitals captain Pant clashed with the umpire over a no-ball in the match against Rajasthan Royals. He had even indicated to call the players back from the field. Due to this controversy, his coach Pravin Amre had to face a one-match ban. Along with this, Pant also suffered a loss of crores. But, he did not take a lesson from this mistake and repeated the same old mistake in the match against Kolkata Knight Riders a day earlier. Pant was seen arguing with the umpire over a no-ball. Its video is going viral.
This whole incident of Pant arguing with the umpire is from the 17th over of KKR’s innings. Lalit Yadav came to throw this over. In the third ball of this over, he bowled a high full toss. On which Nitish Rana hit a mighty six over the point. The umpire gave a no ball to this ball and Pant reached to talk to the umpire about this decision. It was seen in the replay that this ball of Lalit Yadav was above Nitish’s waist and the decision of the umpire was correct. But Pant appeared constantly questioning the umpire about this ball.
After much persuasion by the umpire, Pant admitted that this ball was not legal. The next ball was free heat. But Nitish could not take full advantage of Rana and took only one run.
