new Delhi. Robin Uthappa washed the bowlers of Lucknow Super Giants fiercely on Thursday in the 15th season of IPL (IPL-2022). He scored a half-century while batting at a strike rate of 200. .He was moving towards a big innings but Ravi Bishnoi dismissed him lbw on a personal score of 50. Uthappa hit 8 fours and 1 six in his innings of 27 balls i.e. 38 runs in 9 balls.

Lucknow captain KL Rahul won the toss and invited Chennai to bat first. Robin Uthappa started the innings with fours and Avesh Khan hit consecutive fours in the first two balls. In the next over, he hit a six and a four on Dushmanta Chameera. Rituraj Gaikwad (1) was run out, after which Moeen Ali came to bat. Moin hit a six off the fourth ball of Avesh Khan’s second (fourth of the innings) over. Uthappa again hit 4 fours in the very first over of Andrew Tye. The team’s 50 runs were completed in 4.4 overs. In the first (sixth) over of Krunal Pandya, 16 runs were also scored, which included 2 fours and 1 six from Moeen Ali.

Chennai scored 73 runs in the powerplay of 6 overs for the loss of 1 wicket. This is the fourth highest score of Chennai Super Kings in the powerplay. He scored 100 runs against Punjab Kings in 2014 for the loss of 2 wickets, which is at the top of this list. Uthappa ran the first ball of the 8th over of the innings and completed 2 runs, which also completed his half-century. He scored 50 runs in 25 balls i.e. batted at a strike rate of 200. Although Ravi Bishnoi got out lbw on the third ball of the same over.
