Bhuvneshwar Kumar made a big record
Bhuvneshwar Kumar has made a special record in his name. Bhuvneshwar has become the first Indian fast bowler to take 150 wickets in IPL history. Till date no Indian fast bowler has been able to do this feat in IPL history. Overall, Bhuvi is the 7th bowler to achieve this feat. Bhuvi played an important role in Hyderabad’s victory against Punjab on Sunday. He took three wickets in this match.
Another recorded name
Apart from taking 150 wickets, Bhuvneshwar Kumar made another record in his name. Bhuvi has now become the highest wicket-taker in the powerplay in the history of IPL. Bhuvi made this record by taking the wicket of Punjab opener Shikhar Dhawan. Bhuvi now has 53 powerplay wickets in his name. In this case, he left behind Zaheer Khan and Sandeep Sharma. Not only this, Bhuvi has also won the Purple Cap twice in IPL history.
Amazing against Punjab
Bhuvneshwar Kumar bowled amazingly against Punjab with figures of 3/22 in his four overs. He picked up the wickets of Shikhar Dhawan, Shah Rukh Khan and Liam Livingstone. Other fast bowlers who took 150 wickets include West Indies’ Dwayne Bravo and Sri Lanka’s Lasith Malinga. While the Indian bowlers in the special club are leg-spinner Amit Mishra, Piyush Chawla, Yuzvendra Chahal and off-spinner Harbhajan Singh.
