Timely use of DRS in cricket can change the course of the game. Teams are given 15 seconds to discuss before using it. Fans have given their reaction on social media regarding the late DRS taken by captain Kane Williamson in the ongoing match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Punjab Kings in IPL 2022.

In the 5th over of the innings, Natarajan’s ball hit the pad and entered the wicketkeeper’s gloves. LBW appealed on this. For the first time, it seemed that the ball was outside the line of the stumps.
Kane Williamson, T Natarajan and Nicholas Pooran continued to consult each other about this.

The Hyderabad captain was looking to confirm that he would be successful if he took the DRS. Meanwhile, the stipulated time for the DRS had just come to 0 seconds that Williamson signaled the umpire to take the DRS.
