New Delhi. There is a good news for Indian cricket lovers. Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Secretary of State Jay Shah has confirmed that the next season of the Indian Premier League (IPL)IPL-2022) will be played in India’s hosting next year. Shah confirmed this at an event in Chennai. He assured that IPL will be played in India next year in which 10 teams will take part instead of 8.

BCCI Secretary jai shah Participated in ‘The Champions Call’ event in Chennai. The event was organized to celebrate the fourth title win of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the IPL in which the captain of the team Mahendra Singh Dhoni (MS Dhoni) also appeared.

At the event, Shah has assured that the world’s richest cricket league will return to India and it will be even more exciting as new teams- Ahmedabad and Lucknow join in. He said, ‘I know you all are waiting to see CSK play in Chepauk. Well, that moment is not far away. The 15th season of IPL will be held in India and with the addition of two new teams, it will be more exciting than ever.
