And once lost three wickets for 35 runs played an important role in taking the team to a respectable score of 171 runs.

Varun Chakraborty bowled a wonderful last over
Batting first in Thursday’s match, KKR scored 171 runs for 9 wickets in 20 overs. Apart from Rinku, captain Nitish Rana (42) and Andre Russell (24 off 13 balls) were the other scorers. In response, with the help of Captain Adam Markram’s 41 and Heinrich Klaasen’s 36 runs, SRH seemed to be moving towards victory at one time, but after the dismissal of these two, the team’s steps faltered. In the last over, SRH needed just 9 runs to win and the pair of Abdul Samad and Bhuvneshwar Kumar were at the crease. In such a situation, Varun Chakraborty bowled an amazing over and along with giving just three, he also took the wicket of Samad. SRH could only manage 166 runs after losing eight wickets. KKR won the match by 5 runs.
