Will Babar Azam listen to the request of the former cricketer?

New Delhi. Former Pakistan wicket-keeper player Kamran Akmal has requested for the return of his younger brother Umar Akmal. Kamran believes that despite Umar’s consistent performance, the board is ignoring him. He has performed commendably in the recently concluded Pakistan Cup and Pakistan Super League. Despite this, his performance is being ignored.

The former cricketer also said that the team is selected only on the suggestion of the captain. I request the current captain of the team, Babar Azam, to give Umar a chance to play in the national team. Kamran said during a special conversation with the local media while participating in a domestic level tournament, Ramadan Cricket, ‘The days of Asia Cup and World Cup are very close. It is very important to keep a player like Umar in the team. It depends on the selection committee, staff and captain to recognize Umar’s potential and include him in the team.
