Keeway K300 N, K300 R motorcycle with 292cc engine launched, book online for Rs 10,000

Keeway has launched two new motorcycles in India, the K300 N and the K300 R. While the N-branded K300 is a naked bike, the R-branded motorcycle is a sportbike with a fairing. Both the bikes come with a 292.4cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine, which is capable of generating maximum power of 27.5bhp and peak torque of 25Nm. Their starting price in India is Rs 2.65 lakh, with which both of them will compete with motorcycles like BMW G310 RR, Honda CB300R, KTM Duke range, Suzuki Gixxer 250 lineup in the country.

According to Keeway, the K300 N is priced in India at Rs 2.65 lakh-2.85 lakh, while the company has launched the K300 R for Rs 2.99 lakh-3.20 lakh. Both the motorcycles come in White, Red and Black color options. However, the K300 N gets a matte finish and the K300 R gets a glossy finish. Company has given both bikes official website 10,000 onwards can be booked online.

Coming to the specifications, both the K300 N and K300 R bikes are built on the same platform and share the same underpinnings. Both the bikes are powered by a 292.4cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine, which generates 27.5 bhp at 8,750rpm and 25 Nm of torque at 7,000rpm. Both the bikes get a 6-speed gearbox, which is mated to a slipper clutch.

Braking duties are handled by a 292 mm 4-piston caliper front disc and 220 mm single-piston caliper rear disc, which are paired with ABS. It gets 110/70-17 size tire at the front and 140/60-17 size tire at the rear with cast alloy rims.

The K300 N gets a 12.5-litre fuel tank, while the K300 R gets a 12-litre tank with minor differences. The ground clearance of the K300 N stands at 150 mm, while the ground clearance of the K300 R stands at 135 mm, making it one of the lowest ground clearance bikes in the segment.
