Today, the Mahakumbh of sports began with the Kho-Kho competition. Khelo India Youth Games inaugurated this evening in capital Bhopal Union Sports Minister Anurag Thakur, CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan And State Sports Minister Yashodhara Raje Scindia will do.
The Mahakumbh of sports began with the Kho-Kho competition between Madhya Pradesh and West Bengal in Sanskardhani Jabalpur. Jabalpur Commissioner V Chandrasekhar, Collector Saurabh Kumar Suman, besides many administrative officers and public representatives were present on this occasion. Along with this, players and their coaches from many provinces and cities of the country are increasing the dignity of the event.
kho-kho competition started
In the first session of the Kho-Kho competition, there was a competition between the boys’ teams of MP and West Bengal. After this, there is a competition between the boys’ section of Orissa and Chhattisgarh. At the same time, there will be a competition between the teams of girls’ category from Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka and West Bengal. The first match will be between the girls’ team of Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu and the girls’ team of Orissa and Rajasthan. In the end, matches will be played between Maharashtra and Telangana as well as boys’ teams from Delhi and Andhra Pradesh.

Khelo India Youth Games will run till 11 February. 27 sports are starting in 8 districts of the state. These games will be played in Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Ujjain, Jabalpur, Mandla, Balaghat and Maheshwar (Khargone). About 6000 players from all over the country are participating in this. There will be 470 players from the state.
