Kia Carens MPV car with an average of 21 kilometers became expensive by Rs 50 thousand, know the new price

South Korean car manufacturer Kia has increased the price of its Carens MPV in the Indian market. Launched in February, the price of Kia Carens has been increased by Rs 50,000. This is the second time the carmaker has increased the price of the MPV, the first time in April 2022. Here we are telling you how much difference has been made in which variant and engine option of Kia Carens.

The 1.5 liter petrol variant of Kia Carens has been made costlier by Rs 50,000. Following the price hike, the variants are going from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 11.20 lakh ex-showroom. The 1.4L turbo petrol variant of the Carens has received an increase of Rs 20,000. After the price hike, the variants will cost from Rs 11.3 lakh to Rs 17.70 lakh ex-showroom. The price of the 1.5L diesel variant of the Carens has been increased by up to Rs 30,000. After the price hike, the variants are available from Rs 11.7 lakh to Rs 18 lakh ex-showroom.

The price of 1.5 liter petrol MT Premium of Carens was Rs 9.6 lakh earlier, but now it has become Rs 10 lakh, an increase of Rs 40 thousand. Its Prestige variant has been priced from 10.7 lakh to 11.20 lakh, which has increased by 50 thousand.

The premium price of Carens 1.4L turbo petrol MT has been increased from 11.2 lakh to 11.3 lakh, in which Rs 10,000 has been increased. Prestige has increased by 10 thousand from 12.4 lakh to 11.3 lakh. Prestige Plus is available for 14 lakhs instead of 13.9 lakhs. Luxury is available in 15.45 instead of 15.3, which has become expensive by 15 thousand rupees. Luxury Plus 6 seater is costlier by Rs 20 thousand and is available for Rs 16.55 lakh. Luxury Plus 7 seater has increased by Rs 20 thousand to Rs 16.6 lakh.

The Prestige Plus of Carens 1.4L turbo petrol DCT has been priced from Rs 14.8 Lakh to Rs 15 Lakh, an increase of Rs 20,000. Instead of 17.45, Luxury Plus 6 seater is getting 20 thousand more expensive for 17.65 lakhs. Luxury Plus 7 seater is being sold for Rs 17.7 lakh instead of Rs 17.5 for Rs 20 thousand more.

The carmaker offers its MPV Kia Carens with three engine options, which include 1.5L petrol, 1.4L turbo petrol and 1.5L diesel. The 1.5L petrol engine generates 113BHP power and comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The 1.4 liter petrol turbo engine generates power of 138BHP. This engine comes with 6 speed manual gearbox and 7 speed DCT. The 1.5 liter diesel engine generates power of 113BHP. This engine supports 6 speed manual transmission and 6 speed AT.
