At the same time, KL Rahul’s wife Athiya Shetty shared this post of the cricketer in her Insta story and made an emoji of heart and evil eye.

KL Rahul was injured while fielding during the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 match against Royal Challengers Bangalore. The 31-year-old batsman is the captain of Lucknow Supergiants in the Indian Premier League. Due to this injury, he was ruled out of the remaining matches of the IPL and the final of the World Test Championship (WTC) against Australia in England in June. Ishan Kishan has been selected in the Indian cricket team for the World Test Championship final in place of KL Rahul. The WTC final match will be played at the Oval in London from June 7 to 12.

While giving information about the operation on his social media handle, Lokesh Rahul wrote, “I have just undergone an operation, which was successful. Many thanks to the doctors and medical staff who made sure I was comfortable and everything went smoothly.” Rahul, however, said that he wants to return to the Indian cricket team as soon as possible.

He further wrote in his Instagram post, “Now I am officially going through the process of recovering from injury. I am committed to getting fully fit and getting back on the field. His father-in-law Sunil Shetty has also commented on this post of KL Rahul. Sunil Shetty has put an emoji of heart and finger cross on this post of Rahul.
