Team India’s opener KL Rahul, Pakistan wicket-keeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan and New Zealand opener Martin Guptill have benefited in the latest ICC T20 batsmen’s rankings. Guptill has returned to the top-10, while both Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma remain outside the top-10. India made a 3-0 clean sweep in the T20I series against New Zealand and Rahul batted brilliantly in the first two matches, which has benefited him in the latest rankings released.
Guptill also batted vigorously in this series and made a comeback in the top-10 batsmen on its own. Mohammad Rizwan continued his stellar form against Bangladesh and has moved up from fifth to fourth position. Pakistan captain Babar Azam remains the No.1 T20 batsman. England’s David Malan is at number two.

The only Indian batsman in the top-10 is KL Rahul, who has moved up from sixth to fifth position. Virat Kohli did not play in this series and there has been no change in his ranking, he remains at 11th position. Team India’s new T20 captain Rohit Sharma is at 13th position.
